Musician.
In addition to being a part of multiple projects like Soutaiseiriron and Etsuko Yakushimara and d.v.d, she has also been highly praised for her work in drawing and illustrations, and she is active in multiple fields, providing songs, holding readings, doing narrations, creating commercial music, and much more.
While putting out a myriad of hits, she has also held performances with Ryuichi Sakamoto, Arto Lindsay, and Matthew Herbert, and has been continually announcing one new idea after another, like creating works that incorporate satellites and biometric data. Her spontaneous activities continue to change the boundaries of music and leave a huge impact on the industry.
Her more recent work includes writing Tomohisa Yamashita's track "Ai, Texas," Momoiro Clover Z's track "Z Otome Sensou," as well "Yami yami" for the NHK program "Minna no uta."
