I started listening to Western music in the lower grades of elementary school because of my brother and relatives, and I've been listening to Western music ever since. If you've been listening to music for a long time, I'm confident that you can beat any musician of the same generation (laughs).
For the first time, Japanese music began to debut and I started listening to friends' works.
Basically it's an omnivorous food, from Beatles to Prince, THEY MIGHT BE GIANTS to bjork, HIVES to MIA, Shawn Lee to DOORS to Super Furry Animals. . . . . And if you list the names of your favorite musicians, it's hard to beat.
But what I'm particular about is that it's POP.
POP does not mean pops as a genre, but music that is POP as a sense.
For example, even with a heavy rock like Nirvana, I feel a lot of pop, and if I can feel that, I'm not so particular about genre or musicality. If it's POP, we accept metal, hip-hop, and jazz on the same line.
Recently, I often listen to things like Danny Elfman and movie music, as a normal BGM. After all, I love demons so I always listen to blur and gorillaz regardless of the times.

Around The World In A Day / Prince & The Revolution
It's the most eccentric album of Prince's works, and I love the atmosphere of rhythms from all over the world.
I used to listen to it when I was in junior high school, but I still hear this sound from this album! I'm imitating the recording like that. -
Parklife / Blur
From the time I was a student to the debut of Hoff Dylan, I was really into it.
I wrote a very good song, but it was really cynical and I was messing around with that kind of part. Basically, I don't like serious music (laughs), but I like it because the lyrics are incomprehensible even though they are insanely famous songs. -
Weezer / Weezer
When I was in college, various people introduced me to WEEZER, saying, "A band that seems to absolutely love Yuhi came out." When I actually listened to it, I was completely addicted to it.
When costumes and makeup were very hot with rock, they looked like ordinary students, but they were very emotional, but they were somehow intelligent, and I thought they were new people. See you.
I asked the Japanese students at that time, including myself, such hope that if they could do it, I could do it for a person like me.
