This month, Sakamoto-san will release the album "sonority of japan" series featuring Japanese musical instruments. Japanese gagaku, which has a history of 1,300 years (both 1,400 years), far surpasses Western classical music, and pure Japanese music. OTTAVA sympathized with Mr. Sakamoto's idea of positioning those music as "real Japanese classical music" and organized a special program.
Navigated by Shigeru Saito, music director of OTTAVA, this show consists of three parts.
In the first part, Mr. Sakamoto talked about the charm of Japanese music and the difference with Western classical music.
