- NEW RELEASE-
"1996" was released in 1996 and continues to be a long-selling album.
Ryuichi Sakamoto 's representative works, both old and new, are performed on piano, violin, and cello.
Arranged for a trio arrangement that allows for minimal yet rich expression.
This album can be considered a best-of album consisting of self-cover songs.
Breathing new life into existing songs, with skillful arrangements and satisfying performances
It was acclaimed a masterpiece.
During the several world tours that followed the release of the album,
Audiences from all over the world were enthralled by the trio's performance.
Then in the fall of 2011, this piano trio was revived in Europe.
The cellist is Jaques Morelenbaum, an original member and friend of Sakamoto.
The violinist is Judy Kang, a new talent who was hired through an audition.
They once again captivated European audiences with a mix of old and new songs.
This work was released immediately after the tour in which the three-person ensemble was in perfect harmony.
This is a highly polished album recorded in a studio in Porto, Portugal.
The performances on the tour and the recording in Porto will be broadcast to the whole world.
It's still fresh in our memory that the performance was streamed live on UST and gained the sympathy of many fans.
The long-awaited trio album "THREE" since "1996" is now complete.
Please look forward to it.
