Etsuko Yakushimaru new work using voice, video, and sensors at the "Antigravity" exhibition held at the Toyota City Museum of Art, Aichi, from September 14th (Sat) to December 24th (Tue), 2013. Released the installation "Λ Girl" (reading: Lambda Girl).

"Λ Girl" is a space in which 72 speakers with the sound of a germanium radio without a tuning circuit are suspended, and the Λ Girl inside the monitor installed in the center acts so as to move away from the viewer. A work in which the voice of Λ girl appears in the place farthest from the viewer.

The "Antigravity" exhibition is an exhibition on the theme of "Antigravity," which is said to "inflate the universe at the time of creation by the force that resists gravity, and accelerate and expand the universe today." Kasokudo reflects the current society to continue to non-material reduction, listed the word "anti-gravity" as those that escape from our body and life has been defined the frame. We aim to have a cosmic perspective by feeling the lightness of space that is liberated from the body, looking at the world from a macroscopic perspective, and separating from the sense of values on the ground.
