At about 4 pm, I arrived at the Nîmes Theater in the Old Town under a completely dark sky due to rain clouds. The theater has only recently been refurbished and is brand new, but its history dates back to the end of the 18th century. The second floor seats can comfortably accommodate approximately 800 people. It's a good hole! Sit on a seat above the balcony and look down on the stage, ASA-CHAN G and U-zhaan sit in the center, and Japanese, French and English staff will fly around the area to perform a careful sound check. It seems that the L'EX side purposely created the same black lighting system that makes them stand out in white, which is almost the same as the one used in Japan.
The rain gradually increased, and it was pouring down just before the show. However, probably because of the high interest in Japanese music and the wide spread of L'EX promotion, seats steadily filled up with the opening, and more than 80% were seated at the start.
Following the starting sound of JUNRAYTRONICS, the song starts with "Parlor" where two important pilgrimage elements, trumpet and tabla, appear in one song. The volume is plentiful and the sound of the hall is quite good. Speaking of which, I've seen pilgrimage shows many times, but most of the time, I played at all-standing (or sitting directly on the floor) live houses and outdoor festivals. It was the first time for me to listen to the pilgrimage while filling my back with comfortable seats in a large concert hall with a pleasant reverberation.
Then to feat. Kyoko Koizumi's "back". Kyoko Koizumi's utterance method that sounds like a Japanese song singer might be heard by French people with a lot of exoticism.
Japanese characters that are familiar to foreigners, such as "Kaikyo" and "February", which have a sad melody reminiscent of Jinta and Chin Dong, and "Ichi, Ni, San, Si" based on the rhythm system of Indian classical music. By the time the "12th verse" was expressed using, the audience was fully immersed in the unique sound world of ASA-CHAN G & pilgrimage.
