Jazz saxophonist Stan Getz met Brazilian Joao Gilberto and Antonio Carlos Jobim, and recorded the album "Getz / Gilberto" in 1963.
A monumental work that made the music genre "Bossa Nova" known to the world, and is a tribute album of all new songs from Japan dedicated to the 50th year since the birth of the masterpiece that is still loved by many listeners. "Getz / Gilbert +50" will be released by Universal.
Produced / arranged Goro ITO, a bossa nova guitarist who is directly affiliated with Joao Gilberto, whose new work "CAFÉ BLEU SOL ID BOND naomi & goro is attracting attention.
A total of 19 gorgeous musicians who love "Getz / Gilberto" gathered across genres and covered the entire eight songs from the original album.
